Discover Paonta Sahib
Paonta Sahib was founded by Guru Gobind Singh in 1685, on land offered by the Raja of Nahan, and the Tenth Guru spent over four years here on the banks of the Yamuna. It was at Paonta that the Dasam Granth was composed, and the Gurdwara Paonta Sahib, along with a museum of weapons and manuscripts associated with the Guru, remains the town’s central identity.
