Discover Sangla Valley
Sangla is the Baspa Valley’s main town — the practical base for the whole valley, rather than a quiet extension of it. Orchards run down to the river on both sides, and Kamru Fort watches over the town from a hill just above it. Kinnaur itself is the wider district; Sangla is where most travelers actually stay, using it as the launch point for Chitkul further up the valley.
